Ambucs is a national service
organization of men and women with the
goal of creating mobility for people
with disabilities. Our local Ambuc
chapter was chartered January 5th 1927.
So what do Ambucs do?
Ambucs meetings,community service
projects and special events bring
together a wide variety of people to
promote common causes. Ambucs members
quickly become Ambuc friends and many of
those friendships last a lifetime.

Service : No doubt about it service to
others is what Ambucs is all about. When
you join Ambucs, you join a group of
people who are ready to make a
difference in their community. Plus,
Ambucs local and National service
projects generate intense satisfaction
and pride.Current Ambuc focus is on
Handicap ramps and Therapeutic
tri-cycles for family's in need.
The
Ponca City Grand National MX
Championship has been held every year in
Ponca City since 1978. NMA, Ambucs and
The City of Ponca City work together to
bring the finest National Championship
race to Ponca City. The race is the
largest single event in Ponca City. The
money raised from the The Grand National
MX goes to fund and assist other
projects and agency's in Ponca City.
Every Year the Ponca City Noon Ambucs:
Award 2 $500 scholarships to students
going into the field of therapy. Host
the Special Olympics, touching the lives
of over 110 deserving special athletes.
Host the Ponca City Easter Egg Hunt,
open to children ages 1-12 candy
eggs,money and prizes are given away in
5 different age categories.

Ambucs are in charge of program sales
for the 101 Ranch Rodeo, held in Ponca
City.
The
Ambucs haunted track of terror, held at
the Jack Blevins mx track, every
Halloween is designed for only the brave
to ride a tram through the mx track at
night. Ambucs do Thanks Giving
baskets and Christmas gift cards for
family's in need.

Agency's that the Ponca City noon Ambucs
assist are:
Habitat Humanity, Red Cross, Hospice,
Operation Pioneer Spirit, supporting
soldiers over seas..The Hope Ranch.
Ponca City Junior baseball and Girls
softball. Boys state delegates. The
Northern Oklahoma Youth Shelter. The
Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Noon Ambucs do for the community. If you
